Information regarding the coronavirus disease (covid-19)

Please be assured that the health and safety of our trade show visitors, exhibitors and employees is our number one priority.

On March 11, the WHO made the assessment that COVID-19 can be characterized as a pandemic.

The current assessment from the Public Health Agency of Sweden is that there is a high risk for general transmission of Covid-19.

On March 27, the Authorities decided, as a temporary measure, to postpone public gatherings with more than 50 people in Sweden until further notice.

General information in preparation to your visit at the Elmia venue

In case you have disease symptoms, please stay at home and contact your local Health Care System.

In order to prevent the spread of infection, Elmia follows the below procedures:
- Posting of signs with instructions on general preventive measures.
- Instructions and supply of disinfectants and soap in restrooms, information desks and other stations throughout the venue.
- Frequent cleaning of public areas.

Restaurants at the Elmia venue are currently not affected by the government's decision on public gatherings and remain opes as applicable. Please note that as always, 
strict food safety, infection prevention procedures and security measures apply.

We continue to follow risk assessments and guidelines from Swedish authorities as well as from the European Union (European Center for Disease Prevention and Control) and WHO. We are constantly updating new information from authorities as well as assessments and decisions for our fairs and other events.
