History
Elmia has a long tradition of organizing agricultural fairs. As early as 1959 the national agricultural gathering was held in Jönköping because the city was so well situated for agriculture in Sweden.
During the 1960s the industry and the authorities began to be more and more interested in the fair, which at an early stage worked with distinct themes from an international perspective. As Swedish agriculture has undergone changes, so has the trade fair developed. Now it’s time for the next step with Elmia Agriculture.
