The man behind the development is Algot Sandahl of Lantmännen Maskin in Vetlanda. The result is both ergonomic and attractive.
“The alternative is that the joystick is mounted beside the armrest,” he explains.
The product is a replacement panel that is wider than the original and creates room for joysticks for both the loader bucket and the forest crane plus a display.
The solution is possible thanks to the latest generation of 3D printers. The injection-moulded plastic result is impossible to distinguish from the original. The difference is that there are no tool costs and it is therefore possible to develop new concepts in short production series.
