The visitors brought with them high spirits, curiosity and a desire to invest. They described the fair as “a fair well worth visiting”. When the last afternoon of the fair brought a little rain, many visitors moved further into the exhibitor tents, creating an excellent opportunity for the last handshakes and business deals of the day.
“This year we’ve really invested in delivering a high-quality fair. We’ve listened to previous years’ exhibitors and visitors and tried to learn from that. Throughout the fair I’ve received positive feedback about the entire event. We’re extremely satisfied with how it’s gone, and what is particularly pleasing is that we’ve already had many exhibitor bookings for Elmia Wood 2021,” commented Mattias Pontén, fair manager of SkogsElmia and Elmia Wood.
Numerous exhibitors summed up this year’s SkogsElmia as an important meeting place.
“If we’re going to be doing this we have to be at SkogsElmia. We’ve met the right target group and had a lot of interest at this year’s fair.”
Johannes Nilsson, CEO of the machine manufacturer Vimek
“The most positive surprise at this year’s fair was that the visitors came from so many countries. We’ve gained contacts as far away as Laos and Japan.”
Torbjörn Sjödin, Tracy of Sweden
“Elmia’s forestry fairs have been one of our most important marketing activities since 1989. Demonstrations and trade fairs become more important as there are more and more marketing channels online.”
Bengt-Olov Byström, founder of Logosol
“In all the time I’ve been at Elmia’s forestry fairs, we’ve never sold as much as at this year’s SkogsElmia. Basically everyone who walked by our stand has been a potential customer.”
Rickard Ellander Svensson, CEO of Skogma
“Fantastic,” says Annica Sjövall, marketing coordinator for Lantmännen Maskin AB.
That statement is a good way to wrap up SkogsElmia 2019.
Many thanks to our exhibitors and visitors – we’ll meet again at Elmia Wood on 18–21 May 2021.
