"It is clear that the meeting place is long-awaited and appreciated, both among visitors and exhibitors. The energy has been high, and business has been in focus," says Elin Rickardsson, Business Manager for Elmia Solar.
The stage attracted a large audience
On stage, speakers highlighted current issues in the industry such as battery storage, efficiency, safety, and regulations. The program was developed in collaboration with the Swedish association for solar energy, Svensk Solenergi.
"The stage with speakers has attracted a large audience, which shows that the program has been relevant and interesting for visitors. We believe it is important to have a trade fair that gathers industry players, and despite it being the first implementation, there has been a familiar atmosphere. We are happy to return to Elmia Solar and Jönköping every year," says Anna Werner, CEO of Svensk Solenergi.
"In the stage program, we wanted to highlight opportunities and challenges in the industry. Given the rapid pace of development, there is a clear need for an annual meeting place. The fair has great potential to grow further," says Elin Rickardsson.
Many international companies among the exhibitors
From the opening to the closing of the fair, it was a hive of activity on the exhibition floor. 125 exhibitors have showcased their range of products and solutions – from solar panels and inverters to energy storage and electric vehicle charging. Both Nordic and international companies have been represented at the fair. Among the exhibitors were CheckWatt, Fronius, LONGi, SAJ, SMA, and Ferroamp, as well as wholesalers like EWS, Senergia, KP Energy, and Aprilice.
"There has been incredible commitment from the exhibitors, and they have really used the fair as a platform. Many exhibitors are very satisfied with their participation," says Elin Rickardsson. "The premiere of Elmia Solar has been very rewarding. During these three days, we met the right visitors and had a good flow of visitors to our stand. Together we have now created a Nordic meeting place for the industry that has been long-awaited and welcomed," says Helena Kroon, Technical Promoter at SMA Sweden.
"It is clear that the industry, operating in a fast-moving market, needs a physical platform for dialogue and collaboration. We have had many fruitful meetings with both suppliers, customers, and new stakeholders at the fair and look forward to the progression of Elmia Solar," says Hanna Moselius, Head of Marketing & Communication at KP Energy.
We are proud to have hosted the Nordic region's new and largest meeting place for solar, charging, storage, and installation. We look forward to arranging Elmia Solar again next year on February 4-6, where we continue to focus on renewable energy in all its forms.
Elmia Solar gathered over 125 exhibitors and attracted 3,304 visits.
