No rookies anymore - but just as keen to be seen at the fair
Last year they won the ‘Newcomer magnet of the year’ award. Now Norrebo Träindustri is back at Elmia Subcontractor with an ice cream kiosk in the stand and at least as many invitations sent out as last year.

– I think the tool is absolutely brilliant, being able to email out invitations via “My Pages” at Elmia Subcontractor. This year we have sent invitations on eight occasions, about 400 each time, mostly to our customers, says Åsa Cederquist, HR and Finance Manager at Norrebo Träindustri.

– It's a luxury to be able to use such fine tools for the fair, completely free of charge.

‘The goal is to show that we exist’

When Norrebo Träindustri decided to exhibit at Elmia Subcontractor for the first time - last year - Åsa Cederquist was given the responsibility of putting together their exhibition concept. Anxious to do everything she could to make it as good as possible, she began preparations as early as March. This year, she was more enthusiastic.
– Elmia Subcontractors’ website for exhibitors is incredibly helpful, so I use it a lot. Our goal in being at the fair is not 100 leads and new business. The goal is to let people know that we exist, and that we no longer manufacture hangers, says Åsa.

Turning 90 next year

The family business Norrebo Träindustri is literally located in the middle of the forest just outside Gnosjö. Here, displays, showcases and customised shop fittings are manufactured for customers throughout the Nordic region. All processing takes place in a highly automated machine park, from picking and sorting incoming board material to sawing, edging, CNC machining, assembly and painting.

– Next year we will be 90 years old. This is perfect, to showcase us at the fair and tell people that we are a good and positive team,’ says Åsa.

The assembly stand - a visitor-friendly solution

Being part of the assembly stand from Gnosjö is also positive:

- Here you can get to know those closest to you in a good way and find new partnerships. That's the Gnosjö spirit. And this area we have is so good, here you as a visitor can go into the lounge and look around before deciding which company you want to take a closer look at. It works perfectly for us,’ says Åsa Cederquist.
