Elmia Subcontractor – the entire manufacturing industry's knowledge in one place

Elmia Subcontractor – the entire manufacturing industry's knowledge in one place
New trends, new products, innovative materials and new solutions. Effective meetings with industry experts. Elmia Subcontractor – the trade fair that unites the manufacturing industry – once again takes a holistic view of the industry's current situation and future.

This year's fair continues to develop the themes established last year - smart industry, sustainability, skills and collaboration. They permeate everything that happens at the fair, from all of this year's exhibitors to the packed daily programme for all of the fair's stages and inspirational arenas.

Subcontractor Tech Arena introduce the industry to new technological solutions that make industry smarter. The suppliers for the case are of course on site and exhibiting in surrounding booths, and several of them also participate on the arena's stage. Here you can be inspired and take the opportunity to test a series of smart solutions that can make companies more competitive and profitable with the help of technology.

Subcontractor Innodex showcases new world-unique materials, innovative techniques and creative constructions in design and development. The exhibition is complemented by a stage program with lectures and discussions as well as guided walks around the materials of the future, known as ”Material walks”.

A new arena for sustainability

New this year is the Subcontractor Sustainability Arena, part of the show that focuses on sustainable development in industry. Here, visitors will be able to meet exhibitors, listen to panel discussions and hear experts' thoughts on the green transformation we face with guided tours Sustainability walks.

One of this year's ambassadors is Lundbergs Pressgjuteri. They have been working with green electricity in their operations for a long time. For them, it is important that others see the value in a sustainable approach.

- For me, sustainability is something that makes money. It's about being careful with your resources and caring for health and the environment. The purchase may be a little more expensive, but at the same time the customer is selling a green product and thus making a profit in the long run," says Cajsa Lundberg, CEO of Lundbergs Pressgjuteri.

Collaboration and competence are the way forward

Jelmtech is a product development consultancy, and they have recognised how crucial collaboration is for the entire manufacturing industry.

As the fair's second ambassador, they are a prime example of how partnerships are key to success in business.

- We are the link between product owner and manufacturer to achieve the optimum product, and to get the best outcome at a reasonable cost, it's about creating long-term relationships and finding a partner to have on their journey forward. This makes everyone take ownership of the project," says Carl-Fredrik Emilsson, CEO of Jelmtech.

Industry experts on stage

Also new is the exhibitor stage, which is the exhibitors' own stage. There will be, among other things, to discuss fossil-free steel, electrification of the automotive industry and how to reduce the climate impact of your products through smart material choices.

Don't miss listening to industry experts as they share their knowledge. Main stage takes a holistic view of the manufacturing industry's hottest topics in discussions and debates around the industry's current - and future - challenges and opportunities. Stilride, Scania, Northvolt, NEVS and Husqvarna are some of the companies taking their place on stage.
