Elmia Subcontractor 2024 - Navigating change together

Elmia Subcontractor has existed as a fair, and phenomenon, for nearly 50 years and is Northern Europe's largest forum for subcontractors to the manufacturing industry. For many visitors and exhibitors, the fair is the highlight of the year where you meet customers, colleagues and make new contacts.

"Navigating change together"  

This year, the fair's theme is "Navigating change together", which aims to be a common red thread in the content. Annika Cederfeldt Jiveby has been exhibition manager for Elmia Subcontractor since the beginning of the year, she elaborates further:  

– Elmia Subcontractor is an important arena for manufacturing companies regionally, nationally and internationally. Every year, several thousand visitors come to Elmia to take part in new innovations and solutions, and to stay up-to-date on the latest in the manufacturing industry. That phenomenon in itself, I believe, shows what the fair is - that it is by seeing each other and collaborating, networking and making contacts that we can together cope with the challenges we face. Our fair theme wants to highlight the power of jointly finding ways forward, in the sometimes uncertain times.

Challenges are the foundation of opportunities 

Annika Cederfeldt Jiveby points out that the changes and shifts taking place in society today are also the way forward for new business, collaborations and innovations.  

– The challenges that the manufacturing industry is facing now, are also the basis for many new opportunities. We know that society is in the midst of a digital revolution, parallel to increased demands for a more sustainable industry. At Elmia Subcontractor, we have gathered expertise from different areas at our various arenas; Tech Arena, Innodex, Sustainability Arena and Competence Market. Here, both visitors and exhibitors can dive deep into the special area of ​​interest, and receive guidance from expert expertise.

Platform filled with human encounters

The absolutely most important and central part of the fair is of course all the exhibitors and visitors who come here, with their unique expertise in their specialist areas - they are the ones who create the real magic.

Elmia Subcontractor is held this year for the 49th year. Annually, the fair attracts around 12,000 visitors to three intensive days in all of Elmia's exhibition halls. With the magic that occurs in the meetings as a basis, and with six months to go until the opening in November, the team at Elmia Subcontractor is now gearing up even further - to deliver the fair with extra everything.
