SMART by Subcontractor – the arena where sustainability, tech and materials meet

Elmia Subcontractor wants to contribute to the acceleration of the industry's transformation and is now launching SMART by Subcontractor; a meeting place that highlights research and concrete solutions in sustainability, technical innovation and material development. The arena aims to inspire, educate and connect actors and visitors in the industry and the ambition is to become a central meeting place where future solutions for the manufacturing industry are in focus.

SMART by Subcontractor brings together exhibitors, experts and decision-makers and gives them the opportunity to discuss and present the latest innovations in sustainable production, new materials, advanced research and groundbreaking technology. Here, visitors can gain insights into how the industry can drive development towards a more circular and resource-efficient future. 

– We see a great need to create an arena where sustainability, circular solutions and enablers of the extremely rapid technological development can meet. With SMART, we want to give the industry a chance to explore new opportunities and find solutions that are both commercially sustainable and innovative to secure Sweden as a prominent industrial nation in the future, says Annika Cederfeldt, exhibition manager at Elmia Subcontractor.

Elmia Subcontractor takes place November 11-13 at Elmia, in Jönköping. This year the fair celebrates its 50th anniversary and SMART by Subcontractor is one of the fair's new features.
