Small enterprises multi-use of forests
At Elmia Wood 2025, a completely new Small enterprises multi-use of forests will be introduced, where the focus is on commercial forestry multiuse. It will show how the forest can be a resource for more than just timber production - with new business ideas, products and services at the centre.
Examples of what commercial forest multiple use can mean:
- Forest food, production & processing
- Small-scale wood processing & production of specialised timber
- The forest as a place for experiences & accommodation
- Digital platforms, services and advice for multiple use
A forest multiple user does not have to be a forest owner - there is room here for entrepreneurs and actors with different approaches to the values of the forest. You will meet companies and initiatives that inspire new ways of using and developing the forest - practically and commercially.
