PlantMax is more than a planting machine - it is a complete solution for efficient forest establishment. In addition to planting up to 3,000 seedlings per hour, it prepares, compacts and fertilizes the soil while also collecting valuable planting data, all in a single operation. Since the first machine was delivered to customer in 2022, interest has exploded, and today PlantMax operates in Canada, Brazil, Sweden, Australia and New Zealand.
For the first time in Europe, Plantma Forestry will showcase PlantMax live at a forestry fair. Visitors will see how the machine handles real-life conditions in Swedish terrain and experience the benefits of mechanized planting up close. Plantma Forestry will also showcase MidiFlex - an intelligent and gentle scarifier that is part of the PlantMax system but also is sold separately.
- It will be great to show the forest industry that we now have an efficient solution for mechanized planting. I think many people dont´t fully realize how far we have come. PlantMax is spreading quickly across the world - demand is very high - and to be able to demonstrate what it can do in Swedish forests will be really exiting, says Magnus Sandström, CEO of Plantma Forestry.

Plantma Forestry manufactures PlantMax - the world's most efficient planting machine, or reforester as the company calls it, since it does much more than just planting (soil preparation, compaction, fertilizer application, collecting planting data, etc.). Under optimal conditions, PlantMax can plat up to 3,000 seedlings per hour. The company was founded in 2018 and has since then experienced incredible growth. The first PlantMax-unit were delivered to customers in 2022, and production has more than doubled every year since then - today, PlantMax units operate in Canada, Brazil, Sweden, Australia and New Zealand. The company is in a strong growth phase and at the end of last year Plantma Forestry opened an additional production facility in Söderhamn to meet the rapidly increasing demand for PlantMax. Final assembly takes place at Alftaprodukter in Alfta, while the head office and spare parts warehouse are located in Ludvika.
