Here you will find answers to the most common questions before your visit to Elmia Wood.

1. Practical information

Elmia Wood is held about three miles south of Jönköping, near Bratteborg Gård. Here you can find directions to the exhibition centre.

Parking is available north of the exhibition site and is included in your entrance ticket. Please follow the instructions of the traffic wardens and the signs on site for smooth and safe parking.

For visitors with a parking permit for the disabled, there are reserved parking spaces closer to the entrance.

Please note that unfortunately there is no possibility to charge electric cars at the exhibition centre.

To make your entrance more convenient, it is recommended that you buy your ticket in advance. The possibilities to buy tickets on site are limited to a few ticket offices at the entrance where you can buy and pay your ticket by swish or card payment.

There is an additional charge of SEK 50 per ticket for on-site ticket purchases. Parking is included in the entrance ticket.

There are several food and beverage options on the fairgrounds, operated by our caterer, FC Gruppen. The food and beverage stands are scattered along the loop, and vegetarian options are available everywhere.

Please note that the fair is cashless - payment can only be made by card or Swish.

Yes, there are benches set up along the trail. In addition, many exhibitors have seating at their stands - a perfect opportunity to rest your legs and ask your questions at the same time!

Yes, dogs are welcome at the fair, but they must be kept on a lead within the fairgrounds.

Yes, companions of visitors with disabilities are admitted free of charge on showing their companion card.

Yes, there are toilets at the car park and along the trails. 

We recommend weather appropriate clothing and good shoes. The fair is held outdoors in a wooded environment, where the trail consists of gravel paths and chipped surfaces. The car park is on a grass field, so please make sure you choose comfortable and sturdy shoes.

2. Programme and exhibitors

Yes, you can find it in the fair guide that you will receive when you arrive at the fair. You can read more about the fairground here.

The list of exhibitors will be published on 3 April and can be found here. Please note that more exhibitors may be added until the fair.

There are a number of activities on offer at this year's fair, including lectures where industry experts will talk and discuss current issues and topics related to forests. In early May, you can find the daily programme here.

You can book meetings with exhibitors via our meeting booking in the exhibitor list. If the exhibitor has available appointments, a button with ‘BOOK A MEETING’ will appear. You are also welcome to visit exhibitors directly at their stands.

Yes, some exhibitors sell products at their stands and are responsible for payment. Payment methods may vary and may include cash, card and Swish.

3. Accommodation and overnight stay

There are many good hotels some distance from the fair, read more about hotels and accommodation here.

Yes, and this year we are investing extra in our temporary campsite to make your stay even better! We offer pitches both with and without electricity, and the campsite is staffed with hosts who ensure that everything runs smoothly. In addition, there is a simple kiosk offer for your needs.

4. Transport

Yes, there is bus transport. For train travellers we offer a shuttle bus from Vaggeryd station and for people staying in Jönköping we offer a fair bus from the city centre.

5. Accessibility and safety

There are disabled toilets. The loop, with both laps, is about 3.5 km in total and consists of gravel paths and chipped surfaces. The car park is on a grass field, but there are a couple of disabled parking spaces near the entrance.

At the moment there is no bag ban, but we follow the current instructions from the Police, which may change shortly before the fair.
